Dr. Thakor serves on the editorial board of several journals, including the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering and Annals of Biomedical Engineering. He received a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin.

Dr. Tong is an associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering.
