Tachung C. Yih is a professor of engineering and vice provost for research at Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan. He is a member of the American Academy of Nanomedicine and co-Editor-in-Chief of its official journal publication Nanomedicine: Nanotechnology, Biology and Medicine. He previously was professor and chair of the Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics Department at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.
