Bradley Nelson is a professor of robotics and intelligent systems at ETH-Zurich, and director of the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems, Switzerland. Professor Nelson serves on, or has been a member of, the editorial boards of the IEEE Transaction on Robotics, The Journal of Micromechatronics, and the IEEE Robotics and Automation Magazine, and has chaired several international workshops and conferences. In 2005 he was named to the 'Scientific American 50'ù, the magazine's annual list recognizing leadership in science and technology. He received his Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
