Santanu Kumar Behera

received the B.Sc. (Engg.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) Burla, India, in 1990, and the M.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and the Ph.D. degree (Engg.) from Jadavpur University Kolkata, West Bengal India in 2001 and 2008, respectively. He has completed his post-Doctoral research from Monash University Clayton, Victoria, Australia under Endeavour Executive fellowship program, Ministry of Education, Government of Australia in 2018. From May 1992 to June 2007 he worked as a Senior Lecture in the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Government Polytechnic Dhenkanal. From August 2017 to November 2017, he was with the Department of Telecommunications, Asian Institute of Technology Bangkok as a visiting Associate Professor duly seconded by Ministry of Education, Government of India. From July 2007 to date, he is with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India. Currently, he is working as a professor in the same institute. Dr. Behera’s research interests include electromagnetic theory, planar antennas, dielectric resonator antennas, fractal antennas, reconfigurable antennas, and radio frequency identification (RFID) systems. He has published more than 100 referred journal and conference papers, and 3 book chapters. He is a member of the editorial board of a number of journals and Associate Editor-in-Chief of the ACES Journal.
